I am the head of our Contentious Probate department.

Since qualifying as a solicitor, I have specialised in all types of trust and estate disputes and have assisted clients and companies with disputes regarding all types of trusts, wills, estates, conduct of trustees and attorneys. I have advised and assisted clients navigate a range of complex issues such as the grounds upon which wills can be challenged, claims for provision against estates, proprietary estoppel claims (i.e. broken promises), incorrect administration of estates or trusts, poor conduct from personal representatives and trustees of estates and unlawful actions undertaken by attorneys.

I take pride in identifying issues and options at an early stage of any matter. I am transparent and easy to understand about the current position, merits and the options available to my clients (along with how the outcomes might look to them).

My reported cases include:

  • Ashton v Brackstone [2020]
  • Dean v Groves [2025] 3 WLUK 292

Outside of work, where I have as many coffees as is medically advisable to help me stay alert during the working day, I like to try out the latest fitness trends or pick up an instrument for a few months before realising I’m horribly unskilled.
