I joined Child & Child in March 2026 as a solicitor in the Real Estate team.

In my practice, I act for buyers, investors and lenders on residential and mixed-use development transactions, running matters end to end from heads of terms and exchange through to completion and registration. Much of my caseload is new-build leasehold purchases across multi-unit schemes, alongside acquisitions by companies, SPVs and overseas-held corporate vehicles.

I also act on secured lending for borrowers and, under joint representation, lenders – satisfying conditions precedent, reporting on title, and perfecting security through to registration. A distinct part of my practice is Sharia-compliant property finance, advising on diminishing Musharakah structures, dual registration of the bank’s and the customer’s interests, and alternative property finance relief from SDLT.

New-build transactions run to developer timetables, so I put a premium on responsiveness and on being straightforward about risk, to keep clients informed and make decisions with confidence.
