Ursula joined Child & Child from Irwin Mitchell in January 2018. As a lawyer, she deals with high-value divorce and substantial financial cases, both domestically and off shore.
Much of Ursula's work involves an international dimension, involving other jurisdictional aspects or global asset portfolios. She has considerable expertise and experience in securing financial provision for children born outside of marriage, whilst continuing to act on a full range of law cases involving children. Ursula has also secured extensive knowledge in dealing with the preparation of HNW and UHNW pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements. The work that Ursula handles is extremely high value, often involving assets of hundreds of millions, covering everything from multi-jurisdictional divorce and financial proceedings to private children matters involving international couples.
Ursula is a qualified mediator and also practices as a collaborative lawyer. She is also an experienced participant in the Arbitration process, often resolving family cases by way of Private Arbitration proceedings, thereby avoiding the ‘contested’ court process.
