Robert Gould


Robert qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and practised for 10 years with a large regional firm before relocating to London.

He specialises in advising private and public sector clients on a wide variety of corporate, commercial, contractual and regulatory matters.

Robert routinely advises individual and corporate clients on transactions ranging from share and asset acquisitions and disposals, MBOs and MBIs, investments, joint ventures, shareholder, member and partner agreements to private equity transactions, bank funding and refinancing.

He also advises clients in the commercial and not for profit sectors on a broad range of contractual arrangements including terms and conditions of trading, supply and distribution networks, protection and exploitation of intellectual property, grant funding and corporate governance.

Robert has developed expertise in advising public sector bodies on large scale and complex projects, outsourcings, co-operations and joint ventures.  He routinely advises local government departments, local authorities, housing associations and other public sector or affiliated entities on their affairs generally, procurements, competition, state aid and regulation.

He particularly enjoys delivering on complex and innovative projects.  Robert believes in always exceeding his clients’ expectations.
