Paul Puxon


Paul advises on a wide range of corporate finance, commercial, partnership, employment and regulatory matters including private equity fundraising and public share issues.

Paul qualified as a barrister in 1972. In 1985 he became a Solicitor and joined a firm in the North East which eventually became part of Eversheds. In 1991 he acted for the successful defendants in the case of Eurocopy plc –v- Teesdale & Others (1992) BCLC 1067, a leading case concerning warranties in share purchase agreements.

In 1999 Paul joined RiverSoft plc as in-house Counsel where he provided the legal support for the IPO on the London Stock Exchange and was responsible for the management of the Human Resources Department. After the takeover of RiverSoft, he joined Ferguson Solicitors in February 2003.

Together with Justin Murray he set up Puxon Murray LLP in June 2009 which merged with Child and Child in October 2016.
