Lubna Islam


Lubna qualified as a solicitor at Child & Child in August 2012 and joined the Leasehold Enfranchisement department.

Having benefited from extensive experience in all areas of residential property, with particular emphasis in leasehold enfranchisement, Lubna specialises in acting for both tenants and landlords in connection with lease extension and collective enfranchisement claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended).  Lubna also handles high value residential acquisitions and disposals and acts for banks in connection with secured lending transactions.

Lubna is a member of Women in Law, the City of Westminster & Holborn Law Society and a founding committee member of the Junior Lawyers Division (CWHLS).

Lubna won ‘Young Professional of the Year’ at the annual Enfranchisement and Right to Manage Awards 2013 (the ERMAs).  The ERMAs recognise the excellence and professionalism of all specialists working in this industry both at an individual and company level.
