Alice is a solicitor in the employment department.
Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2017, Alice spent 6 years as a senior HR professional advising in the professional services sector and also in an international brokerage firm. Having been in business, Alice has a unique understanding as to the needs and strategies of an employer.
Alice acts for both employers and employees. This too gives her a fantastic ability to not only advise on the law, but help guide strategy. Alice advises on the full range of employment law, for both contentious and non-contentious employment areas. This includes discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal. She has experience in the Employment Tribunal as well in High Court litigation for both claimants and respondents, and has conducted her own advocacy at preliminary hearings. She also provides advice on drafting and litigating restrictive covenants and terms relating to confidential information, employment contracts, executive terminations and settlement agreements, company handbooks and policies, as well as redundancy, grievances and disciplinary proceedings.
She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and in her spare time can be found plotting her next adventure or volunteering with an international refugee charity.
