I am a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team at Child & Child, specialising in real estate disputes and leasehold enfranchisement. I joined Child & Child in January 2022, following completion of my training contract at a boutique real estate firm based in central London.
I work closely with Andrew Smith, our Chairman and Head of Neighbourly Matters, in relation to neighbourly matters; including but not limited to party wall and rights of light issues.
I also work with Stephen Scott, a Real Estate Disputes Partner and our Head of Dispute Resolution, on disputes involving commercial and residential property including possession proceedings, arrears, service charge disputes, asset management, dilapidations, rent reviews, break notices, business lease renewals, breaches of covenant, adverse possession, trespass and tenant insolvency.
My work also includes working with Claire Allan, a Partner, and Gemma Hawthorne, a Senior Associate, assisting with all aspects of leasehold enfranchisement; including statutory and voluntary lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, right of first refusal, absentee landlord claims, right to manage and licences for alterations.
I act for clients in the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber), Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber), the County Court and the High Court.
I speak Swedish (fluent) and Persian (conversational).
I am also a member of the Property Litigation Association.
