I joined Child & Child in 2009 and became partner in 2010. With my experience in all areas of residential property and a particular expertise in leasehold enfranchisement, I act for both landlords and tenants in individual and collective claims, on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

This includes advising on claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended) and the Leasehold Reform Act 1967. I also advise on the right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.

I know my way around this highly technical and complex field and  pride myself on doing a thorough job for my clients. As one of my clients, you can expect a high level of determination, combined with pragmatic advice from someone who has experience of completing numerous claims under the legislation.

I’m recognised as one of the experts in this field, particularly noted for my experience and expertise in dealing with enfranchisement claims against the London landed estates. Consequently, I’ve acted for a range of high-net-worth individuals, property developers, trusts and investors. I’ve also written for both the general and legal press in this niche area.
