On 27 October 2020, the Home Office increased the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) by more than £200. The new IHS fee is now £624 per year.
Individuals making an application for a Health and Care visa will be exempt from paying the IHS, and a reduced rate of £470 will be payable for students, dependants of students, applicants under the Youth Mobility Visa, along with anyone else under the age of 18.
