Claire Allan joined Child & Child as an associate in 2009. Claire qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and has experience in all areas of residential property with particular expertise in leasehold enfranchisement, acting for both landlords and tenants in individual and collective claims. Claire advises on claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended) and the Leasehold Reform Act 1967. Claire also advises on the right of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. Claire acts on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Claire has successfully completed numerous claims under the legislation and is fully conversant with the technicalities and complexities within this field. Claire has considerable experience and is recognised as one of the experts in this field.
Claire is also a member of the City of Westminster & Holborn Law Society and the Association of Women Solicitors and has recently overseen the firms’ membership of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP).
