Andrew Smith

Qualified in 1977; articled Woodham Smith & Greenwood, Holborn. Joined Child & Child in 1977, initially, as a general practitioner. Partner Child & Child 1978.

Has specialised in litigation since 1987 including employment and commercial contract litigation but focusing heavily on property related litigation, principally party wall and rights of light, easements and construction disputes relating to commercial and residential properties. Has lectured widely and written several articles on neighbouring land issues such as party walls, rights of light, access to neighbouring land, oversailing licences, rights of way, easements, construction disputes and boundary disputes.
